I had such a lovely morning at Rudding Park last Thursday. Several stallholders, including yours truly, were invited to take a table at a lunch for 200 Harrogate Ladies in aid of the Candlelighters which is a childrens cancer chairty. The brilliant Bridget Cornock organised a wonderful “do” and Rudding Park produced a fabulous lunch as always.
I was pleased to have lots of repeat customers from last year and to meet some new young mums as well whose 2 year olds will be sporting our children’s pyjamas from now on. Mums loved the idea of “matching pjs” with their children and the seashell design was particularly popular. Sleep shorts too, perhaps because they are just the thing in this super sunny weather, were quite a sell out and I returned home with an empty basket.
