We aim to dispatch all items within 48 hours of orders being accepted, to arrive with UK customers within seven working days. In reality dispatch is often on the same day or next working day.
Orders placed after 3pm are sent the following day.
We use Royal Mail. At the point of check out you have the following options:
UK 2nd Class Royal Mail : Please allow up to 5 days for delivery.
UK 1st Class Royal Mail: Please allow 2-3 days for delivery.
Next Day Delivery: Arrives the next day before 1pm for orders placed before Midday Please note – Signature required, make sure someone is home to take receipt of item.
Rest of the World Air Mail: Please allow up to 2 weeks for delivery.
EU – We are currently experiencing severe issues with EU customs so are sadly unable to offer dispatch to the EU.
If you are not entirely happy with your pyjamas, PJ bottoms, etc when you receive them, you can return the items to us and request a refund or exchange. We DO NOT OFFER FREE RETURNS, instead prefering to keep down the original price of all our nightwear rather than building a free returns cost into the price.
Returns must be sent to The Pyjama House, Cornborough Villa, Sheriff Hutton, YORK YO60 6QN.
Please clearly mark all returns and exchanges with your Name, Address, Telephone and Email details. Please indicate if you would like a Refund or Exchange. If Exchanging goods, please indicate in your returns what items you would like. It is worth checking the website to ensure we have the correct size/fabric in stock. Refund will be made within 7 days provided the goods are returned complete, unused, unwashed and with the original packaging. Exchanges are turned around within 48 hours and the exchange items will be posted out 2nd class Royal Mail with no additional charge for postage.
*Items bought for Christmas can be returned for exchange up until 15th January. Refund requests must be with us by 7th January.
Always consider an Exchange.. if your PJs are too small, we have larger sizes, if too big we have smaller sizes, if too warm we have fine cotton, if too cool we have brushed cotton. Remember: For all returns, except if the item is faulty, it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the return of the products. When the item is received back at The Pyjama House process a refund for the goods purchased will be made (the original cost of sending the goods out to you is not refunded UNLESS the item is faulty).
If the nightwear purchased is from one of the many Charity Fairs that we attend throughout the Autumn, your refund will be by cheque. Your refund may be reduced by the amount (usually 10%) that has been donated by The Pyjama House for the sale of that item.
