The Pyjama House grabbed our wellies and cagoules and headed in somewhat inclement weather to Carfest North at Bolesworth in Cheshire last month. Our festival debut was a huge success.. lots of sales and LOTS of fun too. Junior Sales Assitant Freddie loved the cars, motor bikes and endless entertainment and Franking Machine Operator Hugo enjoyed the late 80’s vibe.. Deacon Blue, Sophie Ellis Bextor and even Mel C!
We survived the odd heavy shower and plenty of mud and enjoyed the Radio 2, Pudsey Bear and Chris Evans infused atmosphere hugely. Cosy brushed cotton pyjamas went down a storm (and this in mid July!) – one child even purchasing a pair to put on under his by then very chilly and damp shorts and tee shirt!
We have definite plans to do it again, and possibly even add Carfest South to our Show list another year. Maybe it’ll be warmer down south…
